Together, It’s Good
by Glenda White
My mother often baked cakes when I was young. She would start by placing all of the ingredients she needed on the table. Each of those ingredients on their own weren’t exciting. But, once she worked all of them together, she’d have a smooth, creamy and luscious batter – and ultimately, a delicious cake for the family to enjoy!
It works much the same way in the Body of Christ. 1st Peter 4:10 says,
“As each one has received a gift, minister it to one another, as good stewards of the manifold grace of God.”
When our gifts and talents are used in harmony with others, it’s a beautiful thing – People are blessed, encouraged and edified! And most importantly, God is exalted!
